Breakfast with Eggs Increase The Intelligence of The Fetus

Breakfast with eggs may help pregnant women increase their baby's intelligence potential. The scientists found that chemicals contained in eggs could help the baby's brain to develop.

A new study shows that micronutrient, called choline, it is important to help the baby in the womb to develop parts of the brain associated with memory and recall. In their research, scientists at the University of North Carolina tested the effects of choline in the brains of baby mice. Rats fed choline in low numbers during in utero have genetic differences in their brain cells than rats given large amounts of micronutrients.

"Our research in mice showed that the diet of pregnant women, especially those containing choline in the diet, ... can control the development of the fetal brain," says Steven Zeisel, who led the study.

Not only in the egg, the researchers also found levels of choline in the pork. So it can be said of pork is also good to help the baby's brain development.

Dr. Gerald Weissmann, chief editor of the journal Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, which published the results of the study, said: "We may never says pork is a healthy food, but (similar studies) has made us think again about the things that we considered healthy and unhealthy. "

"This is another example that shows that good nutrition during pregnancy is very important for the child throughout his life."
